Our 2023 HAVI Conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in Chicago, IL on September 26-28, 2023.

As we announced previously, our reserved room block at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place has sold out, and unfortunately, we have not been able to secure additional rooms at the discounted rate for conference attendees.

For those who are registered for the HAVI conference but have not yet booked a hotel room, there may still be standard rate rooms available at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place (however, availability is not guaranteed). Additionally, the following hotels are directly connected to McCormick Place via skywalks for easy access to the conference venue:

Given the high level of demand for hotel rooms at McCormick Place, we strongly recommend that you book your room as soon as possible to ensure easy access to the conference venue.

Open your app to request a ride

When you’re ready, open the Uber app to request a ride to your destination. Choose the Chicago O’Hare transportation option that suits your group size and luggage needs.

Exit the terminal

You’ll get directions about ORD pickup points directly in the app. Pickup locations may vary by terminal and product.

For most requests, you’ll meet your rideshare driver on the Departures level of Terminal 2.

For requesting Uber Black or SUV at ORD, please meet your driver on the Arrivals level of any terminal.

Confirm your location

Select your terminal and ORD pickup location as specified by the app. Please note: this location may not always be at your nearest exit.

Your driver’s name, license plate, and car color will show in the app. Verify your ride before you get in. If you can’t find your driver, contact them through the app.

The conference is live and fully in-person. We are not offering pre-recorded, livestream, or hybrid options.

Yes, we do! During the 2023 HAVI Conference, our photographers and videographers will be documenting participant interactions at all scheduled events. If you prefer that your likeness not be shared or released, kindly use this form for your opt-out request.

Unfortunately at this time, nominations for all conference workshops & abstracts and all HAVI conference awards are now CLOSED.

CEUs and CMEs are not being offered at this year’s HAVI conference. We will revisit this offering for future conferences.

Full Conference Registration is $500 per ticket. Ticket includes a Welcome Reception on 9/26 and two (2) Full Conference days with breakfast and lunch on 9/27 and 9/28.

The conference fee is a fixed cost. There is no reduced fee for attending part-time.

We recognize that plans change, and cancellation of your registration may be necessary. Please send all cancellation requests in writing to conference organizers at havipeerlearning@thehavi.org

Cancellation requests received by Friday, September 15, 2023, will receive a refund less a $50 processing fee. Because of convening costs incurred after the September 15 deadline, cancellations after this date – including no-shows at the conference – will not receive a refund.

If you are no longer able to attend but would like to send a substitute in your place, please contact convening organizers no later than Friday, September 22, 2023. There is no fee to change the name on a registration if we are notified by the September 22 deadline.
